Wedding – Lisa + Dom – Viva la France

Certainly one of my favorite weddings of 2015. Lisa and Dom flew into San Antonio from Paris, France. I first meet Lisa about 8 years ago when she interviewed me for a local publication. Lisa was so kind to send me an email about her upcoming wedding. Needless to say, I was thrilled she should even consider me. A Skype call later we were ready to meet for their engagement session just a few days before their wedding. Crazy! Even crazier for them I imagine. They tied the knot with close family and friends at Bliss, a elegant upscale restaurant in San Antonio.

My style is very unobtrusive. Other than some quick group shots, the life of their wedding was captured without direction. Thanks to the couple for placing their trust in me.

I love shooting weddings with a couple of Leica’s. If you’re into cameras then check out this article I just posted. A Leica M(240) was used most of the day with a 35 lux stuck on it. I occasionally will use my Nikon 180 lens for the up close and impactful shots when I just cannot get physically close enough.
