The Post Oak Hotel Wedding Photography. Nila and Josh. The couple and the wedding venue were just so elegant and beautiful. The Post Oak Hotel, designed by I.M. Pei, is an upscale hotel with a striking glass chandelier, posh rooms, and cool cars manufactured by Rolls Royce, is a five-star hotel in Houston, Texas. The wedding, initially scheduled for April 2020, but due to Covid-19, was rescheduled for October. I was fortunate to cover Nila and Josh’s wedding as the principal photographer for my good friend, Adam Swift’s studio during the pandemic. The ceremony was Persian with a mixture of American and Iranian traditions. The highlight of the evenings reception with an amazing performance by a belly dancer.

I loved working with Nila and Josh, and as you’ll see, the wedding day at The Post Oak Hotel was a beautiful fall day. There were many details and decor to document along with, of course, photographing the couple’s story.
