The Grove Wedding Reception – Lena+Freddy | Philip Thomas Photography
Lena and Freddy’s wedding reception/party took place at The Grove, set in the middle of Discovery Green, downtown Houston. I love this restaurant, having spent time here with our children. The celebration took place on Lena and Freddy’s first anniversary, delayed due to the pandemic, and wow, what a party!
Lena and Freddy met in a bar in 2016; frequent flyer miles were racked up between the two, along with long-distance dating to fun three-day weekends, from El Paso to Mexico City. Due to their jobs, the couple were at opposite ends of the Rio Grande; Lena and Freddy tied the knot a year ago, on September 5, 2020.
