Puja and Gary’s 4-day South Asian Wedding at River Oaks Country Club.The following clicks are a curated set of favorite images from Puja and Gary’s wedding day. We start with a few clicks from their engagement session, then the Thursday Tea Party, followed by the Haldi, the Sangeet the following day at the South Asia Society, the Mehndi and finally, the wedding ceremony and reception at River Oaks Country Club on a sunny fall Sunday.

Puja and Gary met one evening at Kiran’s Restaurant. Gary has been a patron of Kiran’s for many years and has become good friends with Puja’s mother, Chef Kiran, the owner, and celebrated chef. Kiran introduced Gary to her daughter and they hit it off, dating from that moment. Months later, here we are trying the knot with friends and family from around the world.

I first met Gary and Puja for their engagement photos, and we hit off. They’re so delightful to work with and so down to earth. I couldn’t be happier for them both. Gary’s family flew over from Manchester in the UK to join for the celebrations. Gary’s a mega Man City football fan, so naturally, the groom’s cake was themed on the football club.

Documenting a one day wedding is a challenge in itself but four days is insane, and yet, a wonderful experience fueled mostly by caffeine and adrenaline.
