Perkins Chapel Wedding + Hickory Street Annex Reception in Dallas, Texas
Here’s a curated set of favorite images from Kinsey and JJ’s big day a few weeks back. I’m so fortunate to work with couples like these two as they trust me to do my thing and capture their day as honestly as possible.
We start at Warwick Melrose, a red-brick hotel landmark of almost a hundred years of Texas history, before heading down to Perkins Chapel for Kinsey and JJ’s wedding ceremony. Then on the hidden gem, Hickory Street Annex in downtown Dallas.
The couple married a year earlier, and so, one year later, we finally got their Covid delayed celebration underway. I love the light this time of year. The long shadows and angular light make it a joy and a challenge to shoot and compose.
Thanks to Deji Osinulu, an amazing Houston photographer who joined me to the second shoot, and lastly, thanks to Layne, wedding planner at Maxwell+Gray Events, who was a delight to work with on their wedding day.
