MELISSA + OBI WEDDING

Melissa and Obi tied the knot here in San Antonio  a couple of weeks ago. These two lovebirds are amazing people and filmmakers at 44 Productions. It was a true honor to be chosen to photograph their wedding at The Veranda on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Especially as many family members came from Nigeria, a beautiful country I visited back in 1995.

This year my focus has been on making images that make you think, each shot should stand the test of time and tell its own narrative. Who can summarize that better than a quote from one of my favorite photographers, Robert Frank “When people look at my pictures I want them to feel the way they do when they want to read a line of a poem twice”.

These are a small selection of my favorite frames, all shot on the astounding little Leica M240 except a few reception images.
