Kim and Dan’s Wedding at San Fernando Cathedral, San Antonio Texas

A couple of weekends ago, Kim and Dan’s wedding was at the beautiful San Fernando Cathedral. This very emotional wedding was a delight to photograph. Every wedding is always unique and a challenge for me to capture.

One of the many reasons why I shoot weddings and nothing else is reflected in this wedding. I had such beautiful light to work and love this time of year when the sun is lower in the sky. The reception was at the Lonesome Dove, part of the San Antonio downtown convention center.

Before the ceremony started, we also had two ‘first looks’. One with Kim’s son Kaleb and then with the groom, Dan. An amazing couple and we wish them many congratulations. The honeymoon was a surprise destination to Kim so I’m itching to find out where they went!
