Houston Arboretum & Nature Center Wedding | Chris + Linda
Linda and Chris’s wedding at Houston Arboretum, Houston and reception at Chateau de L’ Amour, Houston, Texas. The following are my favorite images from their wedding day.
In a word, this wedding was FUN. Loved working with this beautiful couple, friends and family. Linda and Chris first met in high school, and all hung with the same group of friends crossing paths many times. By the time college rolled around they had started dating and have been together since.
Chris popped the question to Linda on the top of Big Bend in Texas. After camping for three days, the couple decided to trek up to the top of Emory Peak. Exhausted, and exhilarated, you can understand how Linda must have felt reaching the top. Excitedly she let out a scream into the open void. That ‘scream’ moment was reenacted at the end of the wedding ceremony by the couple and bridal party. But back to popping the question. It was at that moment, Chris sprung a ring and on one knee, proposed!
On the wedding day morning, we start early with a Chinese Tea Ceremony at Linda’s parents home. The wedding ceremony took place at the magnificent Houston Arboretum. The arboretum contains over five miles of nature trails, with forest, pond, wetland, and meadow habitats. It’s just amazing and a great place to take family or just for solitude. Oh, and you can also see the couples engagement session here.
I hope these pictures bring you as much joy as they did for me taking them. Thanks to friend and solid pro, Deji Osinulu for second shooting with me. Leave your love for Linda and Chris below and share this link via your social media. Thanks!
