Christ Episcopal Church + The Briscoe Museum Wedding Reception

Courtney and Chase, a wonderful couple, tied the knot at Christ Episcopal Church just north of downtown San Antonio. I started photographing the bride and bridesmaids getting ready at Hotel Contessa, with the wedding reception following on a spring break weekend at The Briscoe Museum Art Museum.

There are so many heartfelt in-between moments throughout the day. Among my favorites was floating down the riverwalk with the couple en route to the reception, with mariachi’s serenading the couple on one of the bridges. On another note, I love The Briscoe for wedding receptions. The venue is a modern museum reflecting the history & culture of the American West. There’s a beautiful ambiance and charm, especially in the courtyards.

It’s been a very busy spring so far, and I’m excited to add some pictures from this wedding finally. I’m very thankful for their trust and the referral from the Rominger family. On hand were my second/associate shooter, Adam Swift, and Katharine Crab learning the ropes.
