The Bryan Museum Wedding Galveston, Texas | Lacey + Chris tie the knot
Wedding at The Bryan Museum, Galveston. Here’s a curated set of images from Lacey and Chris’s fun wedding in Galveston, Texas. We start with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready at the magnificent and historic Hotel Galvez and Spa. The couple tied the knot at The Bryan Museum, one of the world’s largest collections of historical artifacts, documents, and artwork relating to Texas and the American West.
Lacey and Chris met at college and became best friends. I loved all the family and friends in this gorgeous summer setting. The couples engagement session here.
From a photographic point of view, I’m always looking for decisive moments. I’ve trained myself to slow down, observe, and look for elements that when brought together, produce dynamic symmetry and a great photograph.
I get asked what I’m shooting with, so most images with a couple of Leica M10’s. Lenses 21mm and 50mm Noctilux. Some shots captured on film on a Leica M3 and portraits on a Mamiya RZ67. Thanks to Deji Osinulu for his artistic eye as second shooter.
