SAN FERNANDO CATHEDRAL WEDDING + ST ANTHONY HOTEL | BRITTANEY + NATHAN
Chic and potentially one of the best looking couples of 2017, Brittaney and Nathan tied the know at San Fernando Cathedral. Their wedding reception was at the historic 1909 St Anthony hotel here in San Antonio, Texas.
Yes, it was one of the hottest and humid days in July – at least for this Brit. And yes, I may be as fit as a fiddle, but after 11 years living here in Texas, I’m still not used to this heat. But hey, that’s why we have air conditioning, right!!
The San Fernando Cathedral is eye candy in itself. With its gothic architecture facing the city’s Main Plaza, it is the mother church of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and the seat of its archbishop. The plaza outside is modern now but you can well imagine the cities townsfolk bustling through this area in days gone by. The St Anthony hotel has recently gone through a major renovation and is now, in my humble opinion quite the jewel here in downtown. Built in 1909, it was considered one of the most luxurious hotels in America and hosted a wide range of movie stars, royalty, and other famous guests.
On a couples special day, I bring my heart and full on focus so it’s great with all humbleness to say thank you to Nathan and Brittaney for their trust. These are my favorite images on an amazing wedding day. You can even take a peek at their city engagement shoot here.
Finally, thanks to Chris Margain, second shooter, Jax and the hair/makeup artists at Jax Studio and the fab Roxanne Day, Catering Mgr at St. Anthony for making their day go so smoothly.
