WHAT’S IN MY BAG?
This is the camera gear I use for weddings. Suppose you’re an aspiring photographer getting into weddings. In that case, you should have at least two camera bodies (preferably a third as backup), a wide-angle zoom, and a telephoto zoom, preferably NOT the kit lens.
Purchase pro-level glass if it’s in your budget. The lens can arguably be the most important to spend your hard-earned cash on, not the camera body.
The gear is essential. You don’t want to walk into a wedding with only one camera. Can you imagine if you accidentally drop or damage it. In my opinion, don’t get too caught up in the equipment. The most important area to spend your time is learning the craft.
